New artificial net facility completed

Harrogate Cricket Club is delighted to announce that the construction of our new outdoor artificial net facility is now complete. The new nets will be officially opened at 6pm on Friday 17th May 2024. All members, friends and supporters are welcome to attend.

The project has taken just over a year from start to finish and has involved a lot of hard work and generosity from many individuals.

The new facility includes four artificial lanes with full run ups. Each lane has a specifically designed playing surface, crease marks and training lines. The whole site is secured by an enclosed perimeter fence. The new nets are located at the top of our practice ground and sit adjacent to our grass practice square.

This project ensures we have state of the art practice facilities. It will be a massive benefit to all of our senior and junior teams. We have a fantastic junior section that includes multiple girls and boys teams. This new project will transform the practice facilities available to them and will ensure we can continue to grow the next generation of cricketers at Harrogate Cricket Club.

Our sincere thanks go to every single person who donated to this project. The project was funded due to the generosity of many members, friends, and supporters of Harrogate Cricket Club along with generous contributions from several businesses and sponsors.

The new facility was designed and built by Total Play. We are grateful to all of their team for their hard work in ensuring the completion of this project.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the 17th May 2024.
