Sri Lankan Abeysekara joins Harrogate CC

Harrogate Cricket Club is delighted to announce that Sri Lankan all-rounder Ishan Abeysekara will be our overseas player for 2019.

Ishan has represented the Sri Lanka Navy Sports Club and has played 16 first class matches, with a high score of 113 and an average of 44.07.

The wrist-spinner has also taken 58 wickets with a best of 5/123 and is bound to be a key part of Josh Atkinson’s side in 2019.

Ishan will also be helping with coaching at senior net sessions as part of his role as overseas player.
